Partner with us to continue to make dreams come true! We are so thankful for the many ways that we have seen dreams come true in the lives of those we love, serve, and disciple in Haiti. We could not make the dreams of education, discipleship, job training, and emergency relief come to fruition without your support and partnership. Please consider us in your end-of-year giving and become a Dream Maker! Give to the campaign here! https://www.purecharity.com/be-a-dream-maker

This month we are reflecting on the work we have accomplished throughout this year and are saying farewell to our Mission’s Director, Graham Howard. Graham has brought a great deal of stability to our group ministry. In the two years he served with us, he was a constant force of professionalism, strong leadership, love for our Lord and others. He has earned the respect of our groups, their leaders, and our entire American and Haitian staff. Graham, we love you and wish you God’s blessings in the next phase of your career.

Thankfully, the nation of Haiti seems to be calming down. Praise Jesus! The national police are out in the streets clearing roadblocks and the schools are opening again. Our American staff will still not be able to celebrate Christmas with the Alex’s House children in the month of December but we are looking forward to returning to Haiti in January and hosting the Christmas Party on January 10th. Let’s all continue to pray for the calm to continue and for progress to continue to be made.

Thankfully, our Haitian staff that is currently on the ground is made of many strong leaders who love the Lord and others. We thank God for Pastor Dorcean as he has continued to lead pastors in Haiti despite the unrest in the nation. He has also organized united prayer for Haiti in some of our villages and their churches. Dorcean has been a constant source of encouragement to the Pastors, our Alex’s House staff as well as the staff members of our Disciples’ Village schools. Please continue to pray for our Haitian staff as they continue the ministry God has called us to.

We have so much to be thankful for. We have seen God move and use us in many powerful ways in 2019. We want to celebrate all that God has done as the year comes to an end. Whether you have served with us on the ground or you support a child's education, we have all been used by God to shine a light in Haiti. You can celebrate with us by sharing a picture or a post on social media about how God has used you to shine a light in Haiti. You can also simply share about our ministry and encourage your friends and family to support us and pray for us. No matter how you choose to celebrate with us, make sure to tag us and use #DisciplesVillages in your post!
